I developed this course about the Science 7–10 Syllabus (2023). The development process for this course was different, as I took over after the original learning designer left the organisation. My role in this project was to build on what had already been created, add more interactivity, and standardise the design to be more consistent within the course and with our other courses.

This activity shows how the Science 7–10 syllabus connects to other subjects. Users select the buttons labelled with subject names to see specific examples of the connections. I used the icons from the syllabus diagrams on the NSW Curriculum website for each subject.


I created this carousel with examples of how NESA’s equity principles are incorporated in the Science 7–10 syllabus directly in Canvas using the html editor. I used the interactive carousel template that had been added to the Canvas CSS for our team, and created the layout of the slides using Flex containers. The icons I used are from other NESA media about the equity principles.
